Support COVAX to help UNICEF
deliver Vaccine Worldwide

The COVID-19 pandemic has left no part of the world untouched.

The largest vaccine procurement and supply operation ever is underway –

and UNICEF is playing a key role, leading efforts to ensure delivery of up to 2 billion doses of COVID-19 vaccine
to more than 190 countries by the end of 2021.

We would like to invite you to help UNICEF to

restart the world for children – Donate NOW

Through the strategic plan adopted by COVAX Facility, UNICEF is working with global partners to focus on supporting 92 low- and middle-income countries and regions to help and ensure they have fair access to COVID-19 vaccines.

With your support, UNICEF will deliver 2 billion COVID-19 vaccines for health workers and the most high risk people.

Your donation will ensure:

  • vaccines get to even the most remote places in the world
  • vaccines are safely stored using cold chain equipment
  • health workers are protected and trained to vaccinate their communities

COVAX (COVID-19 Vaccine Global Access) is the global initiative to ensure rapid and equitable access to coronavirus vaccines for all countries. As part of COVAX, UNICEF is leading the biggest health and logistics operation in history.

By supporting UNICEF now, you’re not only helping deliver 2 billion COVID-19 vaccines, 245 million therapeutics and 500 million tests – you’re helping open the door to a brighter future.

Our most urgent priority is to protect health workers and the most vulnerable people across the globe. We’ll then focus on ensuring teachers are protected so that millions of children can go back to school.

You’ll enable us to lead the end-to-end supply of vaccines, tests and treatment in low- and middle-income countries. This includes:

  • procuring and transporting them around the world
  • ensuring countries are ready to receive and store them safely
  • helping manage in-country logistics so we can reach even the most remote places
  • ensuring health and community workers are trained in administering the vaccines
  • engaging with communities to provide reliable information about the vaccine

UNICEF has been working closely with governments and organizations since the start of the coronavirus outbreak. We have worked to limit the spread of the virus and reduce the impact on children and families, especially in countries with weaker health systems:

  • We’ve reached nearly 3 billion people with COVID-19 prevention messages.
  • We’ve trained millions of health care worker on how to manage this virus.
  • We’ve ensured almost 250 million children continue their education when schools were closed.
  • UNICEF HK has been responding to UNICEF’s global anti-epidemic actions since the start of outbreak. Our ‘for every child, hygiene’ programme has provided toilet disinfection service, delivering hygiene bags, and disseminating educational resources on personal and household hygiene to grassroots families living in subdivided flats. This action aims to strengthen their awareness on hygienic home environment, in particular toilet sanitation, to prevent and control diseases and safeguard the health of disadvantaged children and their families.

We need your help to keep the vaccines at a stable, cold temperature until the moment they are administered:

– HK$750 – could provide 1,630 pcs of Syringes

– HK$3,500 – could provide 2,380 pcs of Vaccine Carriers

– HK$10,000 – could provide 52 pcs of Cold Boxes for vaccine transportation

Your gift will support UNICEF’s critical response to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

To restart the world for children, we need your help!
