Worst food crisis since WWII

In recent years, food supply has been increasingly disrupted by conflicts, economic shocks and extreme weather events. Vulnerable, less privileged communities are hit hardest by the rising food prices. This is the biggest food crisis since the Second World War, making daily staple foods beyond the reach of millions of families and children. Hunger limits human development and social progress.
