01

Climate Change

Countries contribute the least to climate change are suffering the most from its effects. Extreme weather events bring heat waves, droughts and floods, shifting the patterns farmers have been relying on for centuries, causing severe crop losses and death of livestock.

02

CONFLICT

It’s already hard enough to put food on the table for those living in poverty-stricken countries. Can you imagine what it’s like to get stuck in the midst of a war? Some may travel long distances to refugee camps where food and resources are limited. Some have no choice but to stay in conflict zone and starve because of supply chain cut-offs.

03

POVERTY

Many families simply have no money to buy nutritious food or to cook a balanced meal. They feed on whatever they can get, mostly grains, leading to micronutrient deficiency among many.
